My own journey with natural and permaculture gardens began years ago after a failed visit from a gardener who wanted to lay a golf course lawn in our country garden. I was desperately looking for what to do next, until I came across the website of Jaroslav Svoboda. Little did I know that I was starting a journey from which there would be no escape. When opening one door would mean the desire and need to know what was behind the next and the next and..... I took the amazing Designing the Edible Forest 1 and 2 course, and the decision was made. This was followed by the pivotal year-long Permaculture Designer Training course for me, and then a huge amount of others (see Completed courses below). In June 2022, I completed my four-year studies at the School of Natural Therapies in Český Krumlov, whose lectures and workshops were led by leading figures from the fields of botany, herbalism and traditional Chinese medicine, who were and still are an amazing source of theoretical knowledge and practical skills for me. In the autumn of the same year I completed a three-year course at the Academy of Contextual Medicine with the wonderful Michaela Simkova, MD.

Apart from the courses, my greatest and bottomless inspiration, guide and teacher is Nature herself. I love meeting like-minded people, sharing and harmony, any opportunity to learn something   new,  to  try  something out. My heart's work  is  my  garden, which  I  started on a "green field" in 2009, and which was certified as a Natural Garden in 2019. Over the years it has provided me with the opportunity to try things out in practice, to search, find, observe and most importantly enjoy.

My journey so far has given me a great opportunity to look at the garden while designing it from many angles to create one working harmonious whole.
